This is the key charm on my cell phone, taken from my desk where I work and edit my photographs. Anyone who knows me well enough will tell you about my Hello Kitty passion and when I received this cell charm from a R10 lucky ball machine twice in 4 months I took it as my confirmation to take my photography a little more seriously.

I hate bugs, today I thought of Kat and the commentary that would be running through her head or my ears should she have been in my garden when I spotted these yukky manky bugs...

While shooting in Soweto last week with Maximilan Group's teambuild, teams were tasked with a water collection challenge at a local creche.

This little face stood at my feet waiting on my attention and while this isn't exactly the stereotypical pose I was expecting, this shot stole my heart.

Although I don't consider myself a fashionista, fashion photographer or even remotely fashionable myself today I took on bridal couture at Dzigns Bridal Emporium show day.

Owner Ansa Strydom welcomed her clients with cupcakes and a smile and Natasha Alexander had beautiful floral bouquets ready for my shoot. Adele Mans was in charge of make up and gave the girls a once over with her cosmetic skills.

Gerbera's (or Barberton Daisies) are my FAVOURITE flower.

Today a couple friends and I went to Arts on Main where we were greeted by this beauties on the table as part of the decor. I love!
