Kathleen & Nolans Big Day

Kathleen is little sister to Sue who is the bride of the very first wedding I ever shot! So when Nolan popped the question to Kathleen, she got in touch with me to shoot her big day as well and I just had to say Yes!

So Craig and I headed to North Haven Country Estate just off Malibongwe to shoot some magic. The simple and eloquent wedding took place on a perfect Autumn day, not a breath of wind and sunny skies.

Shannah Bugs Day Out

We've watched Tarryn and Pat's journey on this blog over the last 2 years. From couple to maternity shoot and pics of Shanah as a newborn. 

Now we visit Shannah Bug and her friends on a fun Sunday afternoon. I'm sure you'll agree - cute is an understatement and mom and dad are still as in love and happy as ever before. 

Big Sister Family Shoot

Julie, Mark and Tori have been counting down the days till Ashley's arrival - almost 2 weeks to go to be exact. 

This is one of many shoots I've done for the Mattheson's and the family dynamic was made complete with the accompaniment of Max and Mishka - the family Jack Russels.

Here we take a few moments to capture the countdown to Ashley's arrival. 

Lil' Miss Trouble

Although I've never done a boudoir shoot or had the inclination to do so, my good friend Jenna recently approached me with her boudoir project. We were about to move house when Jen came over wanting an impromptu shoot in my bedroom. The huge amount of trust bestowed upon me was overwhelming and I thank you Jen for letting me share these intimate photo's of you at your most beautiful.

Reluctant to do things on a whim with no real pro equipment in sight, I took my D5000 and began to shoot. I'm quite pleased with the results and had a lot of fun turning my rather small and unprepared room into a makeshift studio.
