Lil' Miss Trouble

Although I've never done a boudoir shoot or had the inclination to do so, my good friend Jenna recently approached me with her boudoir project. We were about to move house when Jen came over wanting an impromptu shoot in my bedroom. The huge amount of trust bestowed upon me was overwhelming and I thank you Jen for letting me share these intimate photo's of you at your most beautiful.

Reluctant to do things on a whim with no real pro equipment in sight, I took my D5000 and began to shoot. I'm quite pleased with the results and had a lot of fun turning my rather small and unprepared room into a makeshift studio.

Little Vasco - Sneak Peak

Little Vasco is about to make their appearance and mom and dad, Alisha and Laurence, cannot wait to meet them. In the spirit of expectancy, little Vasco is going to be a surprise and therefore their gender is unknown.

In this little sneak peak you'll see the love and contentment on the faces of these two recently married love birds. Its an honour (as always) to be a part of their special journey.

Shanah steals the show

2 weeks old. 2 weeks and just so cute. Meet Shanah. 

How on earth can I put into words how small this little joy is? Its a rhetorical question because there is no question that she's just perfect.

So while doting mom and dad stand back, Craig and I are attempting our first impromptu newborn shoot. This is no easy feat and I take my hat off to all those photographers who spend hours perfecting these poses. Ours was a more casual and fun shoot done at Taryn and Pats home in Fairlands.

Hard work I tell you - hard, baby lovin' work - but so worth it for our special friends.

Maree Family Shoot - Sneak Peak

I met Rene and Darryl (Derek LOL!) at a vintage wedding shoot in April. The bride was Rene's cousin Lexi and the day was superb.

Here we are a few months later and I'm given the chance to meet angel eyes, Tannah and Taye along with Granny Maree. It was a morning of fresh air and jungle gym fun! This is their sneak peak. 

Gorman Family Shoot - Sneak Peak

If you ever meet Faye and Glenn Gorman, you would be one of the luckiest to cross paths with these two amazing people.

Since their initial shoot the family has changed, grown and morphed into what it is today. Faye and Glenn's genuine approach and hands on parenting can be seen through their two talented and outgoing children, Audrey, Terri and Wesley. 

On a personal note I couldn't ask for better friends. They are the epitome of caring and these photographs capture the Light and Love this family shares. Thank you for all you've done for us, you know what I'm referring to and you know how much I appreciate it. x

Waiting for Shanah

You may recall model couple Tarryn and Pat from my Funday Sunday shoot a few months ago. This is my first shoot in a couple months and I'm posting them ASAP so that you can see these beautiful parents 2 days before Shanah's arrival. (I only hope I'm looking as gorgeous as Tarryn does when I'm expecting) 

Funny thing is (I didn't know this back then) they had just found out they were expecting at the time of their first shoot with me. Here we are 9 months later and Shanah is about to make her debut.
